Recycle Now - Just Try It

Recycling is an excellent way to ease into the Green lifestyle. A January 2008 poll shows that 62 percent of the 2,000 adults surveyed participate in their residential recycling program. In Louisville, recycling can not be made any easier. The Louisville Metro provides recycling bins and pickup services to Metro residents as do most cities outside the Metro limits. I realize it is not always easy to segragate your garbage and place every recyclable item in the bin but the important thing is that you make the effort. If every household would participate in their available residential recycling program, the volume of waste accumulating in area landfills would be greatly decreased.
